Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement (QA/QI)
TRAINING
The QI training programme is not new in Malaysia. The first training module was developed in 1990 as a training package aimed at enhancing participants’ skills in conducting QI studies. Over the years, the training modules have been revised and training sessions have been refined.
Currently, the Secretariat conducts 3 types of yearly training namely Implementing Quality, Comment & Critique, and Polish & Publish Workshop.
The main module which provides a step-by-step guide on how to conduct a QA project following the Malaysian QA Cycle.
Focus on the need to promote Quality by highlighting on the general concepts, activities & benefits of implementing the Quality Program.
A reference Module highlighting the fundamentals of planning, implementing and evaluating a QA activity
Provide an overview on the issues related to managing quality such as on leadership, strategic planning and resources identification and allocation.
