National Indicator Approach (NIA)
TRAINING
Currently, there is no specific training for NIA. Monitoring and evaluation of NIA indicators are conducted through regular meetings of the Technical QA Committee, chaired by the Director of IHSR, and the National QAP Committee, chaired by the Deputy Director General of Health (Research & Technical Support). These meetings focus on monitoring the NIA indicators performance, reviewing existing indicators and standards, as well as evaluating new indicators proposed by various programs. The NIA Secretariat provides consultation services for the development of new NIA indicators upon request from any program or division planning to introduce new indicators.
