Infection Prevention & Control
TRAINING
Training can occur either on an annual basis or as a one-time event, and can be conducted in the form of workshops, conference, webinars, and hands-on activities (e.g. train the trainers). Among the annual/ frequently or generic training that have been conducted are:
1. Annual celebration of World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW), World Hand Hygiene Day (WHHD) and World Immunization Week.
2. Conference such as National Infection Prevention and Control Conference, Malaysia AMR Conference
3. Workshop or seminar such as Policies and Procedures on IPC
4. Hands-on acitvities such as Multidrug resistant organisms (MDROs) and MDRO Bacteremia Surveillance, Point Prevalence Survey (PPS) on Healthcare associated infection (HCAI) Surveillance training, WHONET training and Training the trainer (TTT) (e.g. TTT on Hand Hygiene, TTT on AMR Outbreak Response in Hospital Settings)
