Laboratory Accreditation: MS ISO 15189

TRAINING

The state pathologists/ pathologist within a state may assist in providing guidance and training to all hospitals within their state to achieve and maintain the MS ISO15189 accreditation. Since 2023, many trainings related to MS ISO15189:2022 have been conducted by the Department of Standards Malaysia, Pathology Department of MOH hospitals, and Universities. DSM also conducted trainings for assessors and currently a total of 107 personnel from MOH hospitals have been trained and certified by DSM. Those certified assessors are also able to provide trainings for MOH hospital laboratories.
