Peri-Operative Mortality Review
OVERVIEW
Introduced in 1992, Peri-Operative Mortality review (POMR) focuses on the investigation of any death that happens throughout the complete length of hospital stay within the same admission of a surgical or gynaecological treatment conducted under general or regional anaesthesia, including death in the operating room prior to anaesthesia induction.
