Kesihatan Oral Tanpa Amalan Merokok (KOTAK)

Initiative Kesihatan Oral Tanpa Amalan Merokok (KOTAK) through School Dental Services,also known as KOTAK, is an early smoking detection and intervention programme designed for all primary and secondary schoolchildren throughout the country since 2016. It is a strategic partnership between Oral Health Programme of the Ministry of Health (MOH) with multiple sectors involving Disease Control Division of the Ministry of Health (MOH), School Education Division of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Faculty of Health Science of the National University of Malaysia. This initiative is a part of the School Dental Service Programme in which schoolchildren are screened for smoking habit and identified smokers will undergo smoking intervention to help them quit smoking.
